The app 99 Bricks Wizard Academy is a well-made mix of Tetris and Physics Puzzler. The objective is to build the highest tower possible, with blocks that are floating down in Tetris-style. To move the blocks you swipe to the left or the right, to quickly place them you swipe downwards.
What if a block doesn’t come down the way you would like it to? Luckily, you are also a magician – so the problem can be solved easily. All you need to do is apply the correct spell to remove the block. Just keep in mind that this will cost you one mana point, of which you only have a limited number in each round. However, gradually you acquire new magical powers and have the option to spend earned coins in the store, purchasing new wands, different garments and various upgrades.
Conclusion:
It can get quite addictive, trying to build higher and higher towers out of Tetris blocks. Thanks to the magic spells, tactic is being added to the physics engine as well. Plus, the developer does without in-app purchases.
